EnergySolutions Welcomes Industry Veteran Pierre Oneid

Salt Lake City, Utah – May 1, 2024 – EnergySolutions, a premier leader in nuclear waste management, decommissioning, and project services, announced the appointment of Pierre Oneid as Executive Vice President of Business Development. Oneid brings over four decades of invaluable experience and leadership to EnergySolutions in the power and nuclear services sectors.

Having most recently served as Senior Vice President of Domestic Nuclear Programs for Holtec International, President of Holtec MENA, and a member of Holtec’s Executive Committee, Oneid is credited with spearheading strategic initiatives that have significantly shaped the nuclear energy industry and driven significant growth within Holtec. He served as Holtec Chief Nuclear Officer for 16 years. Oneid was recently elected to the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) Board of Directors and is the longest-serving member of the NEI Nuclear Strategic Initiative Advisory Committee (25 years).

Oneid is a graduate of Queens University with an Executive MBA and the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to Holtec, Oneid held various technical and leadership roles at The Shaw Group and Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation.
