Salt Lake City, Utah – January 31, 2024, EnergySolutions (ES) today announced that Sola Mogaji, currently Senior Vice President (SVP) for ES’s corporate Project Management Organization (PMO), has been appointed ES Canada Country Manager. In this new role, Sola will be responsible for both our existing operations and the growth of our Canadian business into new areas. This effort strengthens our leadership team in Canada, with Ron Leblond continuing to oversee our facility operations as VP, Operations and Special Projects, and Vik Tathe, Senior Vice President, Business Development.

Sola’s unique experience and leadership will help us expand these operations and support our clients across a broader array of services.” The EnergySolutions PMO supports over $4 billion in waste, construction, decontamination, and decommissioning projects in commercial and federal businesses across North America. Over the
last three years, under Sola’s leadership, the PMO implemented initiatives that foster and improve our project management and controls processes, systems, and overall performance. These efforts are geared towards ensuring the predictability and safety of our projects, while consistently achieving our schedule and budget objectives. The PMO played a vital role in fostering a robust project-focused culture throughout ES.

Prior to joining the ES team, Sola was with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) where he played a key role in the development and operation of the PMO for the Darlington Refurbishment Project, which set the stage for an expanded PMO to govern all capital projects at OPG. Sola’s background includes engineering and project management roles at Shaw, Stone & Webster Canada, Bantrel Canada, and SNC-Lavalin (now Atkins-Realis). Sola is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario with bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and an MBA focused Technology Management.
